Members may volunteer to assist with raking pine needles from a specific “adopted” Loop or other assigned common areas, and in return for volunteering, Member volunteers may stay one weekend (or any other 2 consecutive nights in a week) April 26 to May 14. Contact the Office if you are interested – volunteers are limited (no more than 25) and selected based on prior work history and first-come-first-allowed basis. (MR-11-03)

Member volunteers agree to the following:

  • Must sign or already have in their Site File a Tahoe Timber Trails Association Liability Release Agreement – Volunteers (FM-11-13)
  • Must sign a pre-Park Opening Agreement (FM-17-23) that states:
    • No fires will be allowed
    • Park Patrol is not available
    • Volunteers may be asked to leave due to impending bad weather
    • Work agreement/overnight staying may be rescinded by the Park Manager at any time
  • Must agree to rake pine needles from a specific “adopted” Loop, consisting of the Loop Comfort Station and the entire Loop Road (including a “rake-wide” area shoulder on each side of the Loop Road)
  • Will not add their site needles to the ones raked up for the Park
  • The Park Manager will inspect the work volunteers accomplishments and have responsible volunteers correct any missed areas.
