The EQIP grant funding is intact following the Federal Government’s review of commitments that were approved under the Inflation Reduction Act. TTT received approval of the grant last year. The final step in the process, which is the Cultural Review (similar to an archaeological evaluation), has been completed. The final report is anticipated to be prepared by August.
The grant funds are designated exclusively for the common area, which encompasses approximately 84 acres within the TTT campground, making up slightly more than half of our total 159-acre site. If every member adheres to the new Membership Site Clean-up Requirements, 75 acres (nearly half of TTT) would satisfy the defensible space requirements.
