The water tastes great!

TTT is considered a small water system: “A small water system is defined as water for human consumption that has 15 or more service connections or regularly serves at least 25 individuals at least 60 days out of the year. Nevada County through our Local Primacy Agency, under contract with the State Water Resources Control Board, ensures that small water systems deliver safe, adequate, and dependable potable water.”

A designated ORC (Operator-in-Responsible Charge) is required based on 24/7 on call/standby availability, considering the size, complexity, treatment, responsibilities, license requirements & liability, and increased regulatory enforcement. TTT contracts with Elevate Water Systems to regularly test our water, submit all the regulatory reports and support management with oversight of the system.

Every community water system is required to prepare and deliver a report to all its water users. The “Consumer Confidence Report” (CCR) outlines very specific content detail, which is updated every year with new regulation, language, public health goals and maximum contaminant levels.
